This little tiny short film had the most unbelievable cult following of all White Violet Pictures.  There’s something about Jim that makes everything he does great, even when its…really silly.

Standard Issue (12:44)

Originally conceived by Anna Blue and Lynda Hinkle, this film delves into the question of body image…is what we think about ourselves really true? What if it wasn’t? What if what other people see is different than what we see?

Drunk Bastard (6:03)

Written and directed by Lynda Hinkle, this film explores a relationship with an alcoholic. Says Hinkle, “This is a harsh depiction, but it rings true…I think its probably the work I am closest to of anything I’ve shot. It still makes me nervous when Derrick says words that I myself am opposed to, but I felt that I had to show the character as he truly is…bigoted, lonely, confused…and a drunk bastard.”

Make Room for Art (7:20)

Anna Blue and Andrew Lynch demonstrate the challenges of the artist in a world that values money over art.

Five Stages of Grief (7:18)

Poet Kris Ferraro, “Firesoul”, came to us with the idea of filming this performance piece.  Her work is powerful and painful and yet life-affirming.

Cellular Degeneration (6:33)

More on the cell phone theme, this script won the ADD Screenplay contest and we filmed it …written and directed by Jen Walker.

Elbow Talk (9:14)

Written for James Hyler, this piece was created by Lynda Hinkle to show what it is like for the artist who simply doesn’t want to let go, who believes in their work despite the odds…who has to believe in their dream above all.
